Alison Clancy is a dancer, singer and actress. She takes pride in the mantle of shapeshifting; originating contextually resonant performances in a broad range of environments. In summer 2026 Alison both directed and performed a leading role in Burning Angel, Perfect Mind aka Have You Heard of God?, an 8 hour immersive theater ritual in Oakland, CA commissioned by Emmett Shear, written and produced by The Classics Dept. Alison currently tours internationally dancing in The Surge: An Ode to Sinead O'Connor created by Sonya Tayeh. She also dances in eighteen rotating productions at The Metropolitan Opera; inhabiting roles from comedic to dramatic to deranged. In The Met's 26-27 season she'll dance in Der Rosenkavalier. She originated the longest Principal Dance Solo in Met Opera history: Summoning a lightning storm for the overture of Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer.
