Alison dances in 17 rotating productions at The Metropolitan Opera, submerging into a wide range of roles from comedic to dramatic to deranged. She originated many of these roles including Manuelita in Carrie Craknell's Carmen, and the longest Principal Dance Solo in The Met's history as the Senta Dancer who summons lightning in Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer.

Both at The Met and beyond Alison's collaborated with many luminary artists; including Baz Luhrmann, Fiona Shaw, Zvi Gotheiner, Annie B Parson, Shen Wei, The Flaming Lips, Bart Scher, Phelim McDermott, Steven Hoggett, Kelly Devine, William Kentridge, Ryan Heffington, Ann Yee, Francois Girard, Carrie Cracknell, Carolyn Choa, Des McAnuff, Martha Clarke, Gary Lucas.
