Alison is a prolific choreographer and director for theater, film, music videos, concert dance, motion capture, nightlife, immersive and ritual projects. Creations draw from broad technical and stylistic training; honed by almost two decaes dancing at The Metropolitan Opera learning from countless luminary artists. Movement invention emerges from deeply embodied somatic and ballet practices; but subverts technique in exploration of primordial sensuality. A primary goal is illuminating the authority of each body's authentic story and gifts. Alison's work is equal parts visceral and visual, often incorporating custom lighting, costumes or fabric installations.
