In early 2020 Alison summoned a lightning storm at The Metropolitan Opera and "Made Dance History". Dancing to the overture of Wagner's Der Fliegende Hollander, it was the longest Principal Dance Solo in the history of The Met. The production will return to The Met in Spring 2023.

Alison also dances in The Met's productions of Eugene Onegin, Rigoletto, Norma, Parsifal, Wozzeck, Turandot, Faust, Der Rosenkavalier, Romeo and Juliet, Un Ballo En Maschera, Don Giovanni, and Les Contes d'Hoffman. In 2022 Alison will originate a new role in The Hours, directed by Phelim McDermott and choreographed by Annie-B Parsons.
