Alison dances in sixteen different productions at The Metropolitan Opera. Often cast for her ability to improvise and generate theatrical material, Alison's originated roles in collaboration with luminary directors and choreographers including Annie B Parson, Phelim McDermott, Steven Hoggett, Bartlet Scher, Kelly Devine, William Kentridge, Francois Girard, Carolyn Choa, Kim Brandstrup and others. In 2023 Alison will originate a role in a new production of Carmen, directed by Carrie Cracknell and choreographed by Ann Ye. In early 2020 Alison Made Dance History summoning a holographic lightning storm for the overture of Der Fliegende Hollander. At twelve minutes, it was the longest Principal Dance Solo in Met Opera history.
