Alison Clancy is a dancer known for a unique blend of raw expressive athleticism, balletic lines and versatile theatricality. Based in New York City, she tours internationaly as a company member of Zvi Dance and is in her tenth season dancing at The Metropolitan Opera, where she has originated many roles for the Live in HD broadcasts to Movie Theaters around the world. Baz Luhrmann, Martha Clarke,
Ryan Heffington, The Flaming Lips,
Marco Evaristti, Todd Williams, Boras Staatsteater, Misnomer Dance Theater, White Wave Company, Sarah Weber-Gallo Dance, Delicate Beast, and contributed to many fashion shows, films, television series, and music videos. Clancy holds a BFA in Dance from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and is a 2019 Artist in Residence at Middlebury College.
